Another op up question - Check in?
 
is it best to check in online 48 hours in advance (when it opens) or wait for the airport?

leaving in a couple of days ORD to HKG.

I quite don't understand why people asking op-up questions.
It is not under our control, is it? If it happened, it happens!
It's more odd that people who asking so are not even CX elites. ( or CX elites don't expect op-up? ha!)

It's not surprising most of these threads/question are asked by AA members, where they are given free upgrades like candy.

People have to understand, with CX, it's call "op-up" - short for OPERATIONAL upgrade. Not just because there's free remaining seats in a higher cabin.
