Expectations

Hi All,

I am a guest on your forum and I would like to ask a question about an upcoming trip.

In February I am booked on a QR flight to the Chinese city of Fuzhou. I will fly into HKG on QR metal but the last leg is "Cathay operated by KA".

I am flying in Business Class.

I was wondering, what kind of service should I expect? it's actually the first time I hear about KA :)

Is it considered a CX flight in terms of benefits at HKG Airport (Lounge etc.), what kind of business class? does it earn miles as a CX flight on One World?

Thanks in advance

Dragon Air/KA/Cathay Dragon (same thing) is the same as Cathay in terms of regional product and service.

It's considered Oneworld for the purposes of your trip as far as I'm aware.
Here's a pic of the regional business class seat: http://efficientasianman.img.boardin...1/DSC06648.jpg

Thank you. Decent enough for a 2 hours flight :) It's my first ever experience on CX business class so looking forward to it.

Kindly have a search here, and review the very top FAQ thread. You will find many of your answers, and a lot more info about your first CX flight.

Also Fuzhou is operated by A330s so you will get the regional business product for this short flight.
