Thanks!
I honestly have never seen a male ISM. And why does B&C stands for Flight Attendant & Customer Service Officer? |
B&C = Bar and Cabin

So what levels of authorities do they have? i.e. When we've got an unfunctional seat in Y, who we should talk to?

FP - In charge of the galley and usually section leaders in EY Hands out your DM water and does non-DM greetings, f there was one SP - In-flight service 2IC. Usually works F/J cabins. Usually does J service ISM - Big Brother or Sister for in-flight services. Above are just from observations from the passenger's eye. There are other roles and responsibilities as well If you have a broken seat, you can pretty much approach anyone but the ISM has the final say on any service-recovery decisions. |

Right. There was once I had my IFE system frozen, asked B&C or FP (can't remember the skirt colour back then), restarted 3 times still frozen, she told me that she would move my seat (Y was full) and went to see the ISM, ISM came and did one more restart, it worked ...... So i thought if I asked the ISM at the first place, I might have been in a different cabin already.
But apart from greeting, I couldn't really see the ISM in Y cabin. |
