Mix of AC & CX - Baggage Allowance
 

Good day. I'm new to this Forum, and hope you can help me.


I have a ticket with a mix of AC & CX metal booked through an online travel agency.
The ticket has:
YOW -> YVR -> HKG (all AC)
HKG -> PVG (CX operated by Dragonair) -> YYZ -> YOW


The ticket is AC ticket (i.e. prefixed with 014).


I would like to ask for HKG -> PVG, do I have the same baggage allowance as the rest of segments, which is 2 baggage each with 50 lbs, OR, it follows Dragonair baggage allowance, which is unlimited bags but total of 44 lbs only.

If it's all on one ticket and PNR then KA will honour the AC baggage allowance since AC is the Most Significant Carrier.

Would you also know if I just need to check in once and expecting my baggage will arrive in Canada? Or, I need to check in at PVG again?
