Booking names - not sure if an issue
 
Hi there,

We have CX flights from London to Sydney coming up in October (Booked a couple of months ago through an online TA which I wish to goodness we hadn't done but the prices looked good...)

I'm a little concerned about the consistency of names/surnames/salutations in various places I can see mine and my partner's names against our booking.

For example:

- In CX Website 'Manage Booking', our names show up as SURNAME NAME

- On the e-Ticket, my name comes up as NAME. SURNAME and my partner's name comes up as NAME.MS SURNAME

- Now that I've added our flights to the MyFlights App, our names come up on there as "Namemr Surname" and "Namems Surname"


I expect I should ring Cathay and check this isn't an issue but has anyone got experience of these types of inconsistencies and any thoughts on whether I am heading for a whole world of pain here?

I expect this indicator alone should be fine.

Have had the order messed up a few times (including once on a CX issued ticket with an Mh sector, where online check in showed 'Surname Middle Mr. First Middle'. Not a problem at all.

If the ticket involved a US sector and a part of the name was missing/erroneous - then yes, it could be a problem- but should be all good in this case.

Ok, this is all encouraging feedback, thank you!

It was the fact that my name is showing up as "Jamesmr Hxxxxx" on the MyFlights App that was scaring me mostly, but that doesn't appear anywhere on CX website so it's probably just a gremlin!
