Through-checking by CX (different tickets)
 

Any experiences with CX entertaining through-check requests for travellers travelling on different tickets? Will be travelling HKG-SIN on CX as an award ticket and then QR SIN-DOH-BRU as a paid ticket.

Similarly, will QR entertain through-check for BRU-DOH-SIN-HKG?

I think so provided you meet MCTs but I've never tried your combination (CX-OW on seperate tix, or vice versa)

I've done CX-oneworld (AA) on separate tickets, both paid-paid and award-paid, and never had a problem.

No issues with CX as long as there's an interline agreement (all oneworld and many others). QR should too, given same alliance and oneworld policies, but don't have a clue how they are in practice.
