better 777 - 3 or 4 classes?
Which version of the 777 has better business class seats, the one which has 3 classes or the one with 4 (includes first class)? Thanks.

In fact, they are using the same J products (long haul, fully flatted bed). Normally, if the aircraft equips with PEY, there are long haul J seats, such as 33G, 77H, 77G.

The answer is that both 3 and 4 class 777-300ER's use exactly the same J seat. |
True but the seats in mini-cabin are more private.
|
Agree with all the above. The J seats are the same.
Further on percysmith's response, the seats in the mini-cabin on the 4 class 777-300ERs are indeed more private. But on the other hand if you are in the mini-cabin on the 3 class 777-300ERs you are only a curtain away from PEY (maybe you will get waken up when the lights are switched on for meal service which starts earlier than J)... |
Alright to clarify I conceded the hardware for all 77G and 77W seats are identical but the location can be significantly different.
|
Obviously the 4-class since you can upgrade to F.

In November last year I flew out of LHR in a 4 class and came back, in December, in a 3 class.
The J seats were the same - very comfortable and private, so indulge yourself! Cypress |
