Waitlist priority OWE vs MPO SL
 

I'm trying to change a revenue flight in economy class HKG to LHR to early January 2015, which one gives me higher priority, CX SL or QF emerald?

And, CX DM and GO has seat gurantee, does it mean I might be top of the waiting list?

There is no waiting list with a seat guarantee. They will give you a seat even if the flight is fully sold out. Seat guarantee is only paid tickets only, not award.

As for waitlist, I believe OWE should be higher.

MPO Silver can be put as same level as OWEs if the MPC puts request through to CX Inventory control. Note however, that CX will release all the seats not taken up by seat guarantees about 3 days prior to departure.

Having seat guarantees in economy class is one of the best benefits of MPC Gold and Diamond status.

There can be waitlisting for GO & DM if the member is traveling with companions.
