"Cathay Pacific, which was recently named the “World’s Best Airline” by Skytrax for the fourth year in a row, said it is committed to overhauling its brand in order to provide a better experience for its customers. Marco Polo Club members told the South China Morning Post the potential changes would be a “bombshell".....

Almost had a heart attack the first second I saw the thread title and only found that it was not an official announcement when I clicked into it. Jeez that scared me...

please don't downgrade silver, just kick the OW people to G16 like QR and BA do without affecting their own program, this will also give incentive for others to join the CX club instead of the others
