Oneway Award stopover

I would like to book YVR-JFK-LHR with a few days in JFK

Is that possible on an award ticket ? If so I am guessing I need to call them ?

In J/F and looks like the second flight would be on BA

You are allowed a stopover on one way tickets. You do have to call them to book it

Have you thought about AA on JFK-LHR?
U or Z class might be harder to get on AA but considering they are 3x 77W on that route that uses the Cirrus seats?
Seat wise may be better vs. BA Club World

Anyone know CX charges YQ on AA? Since BA will be about 400 USD on 1 leg if memory serves right.
I know AA is usually YR but its a non-issue for 001 ticket stock obviously

77W award seats JFK-LHR on AA is virtually non-existent, especially in business or first. Their might be other routes available such as US from PHL which has a fairly comparable product

I have been looking for AA seats JFK-LHR but have yet to see one in J or F

Booking a one-way award YVR-JFK-LHR - Is it actually any cheaper to book it with one award/ticket vs booking YVR-JFK and then JFK-LHR separately ?

I agree, AA is very rare to release any Longhaul U or Z class nowadays.
Hmm, don't you mean "Compton" F, sorry it's a AA forum joke :D
The seat itself would still be better than BA CW

YVR-JFK-LHR would be Cat D. so, 70K J/105K F.
YVR-JFK-LHR split award would be Cat B+C so 75K J/110K F but you can add a LHR stopover and save a ex-LHR Short Euro for later use.
As HKG slang goes, "pocket it first!" :D

Still it is kinda expensive considering YVR-LHR non-stop itself is only 45K J
