Miles Redemption + infant
 

Hi All,

I am trying to redeem Asia Miles for a R/T ticket on AA. My question is that, I will also have my infant son who's coming with me (lap infant). I am seeking any advice on what the process is for this. Do I redeem my miles and then contact AA once I receive the booking/ticket to add my son?
I am assuming he's still free of charge even when I am booking the ticket via redemption instead of a paid ticket.

I would say call AA to be sure.

Although lap infants are fee, they have to pay 10% of regular fare as tax which can be a lot in J/F.
