I asked Cathay, and they sent me a copy of the discovery magazine! I am no marco polo member - in fact I am a *A flyer. You can probably send them a message and ask as well, they really try to help.

Its little things like this that will convince me to move my loyalty to CX.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I just wanted to say that they were playing Flight of Fantasy by Yanni (1990) last month on HKG-LHR, and I can't believe how nostalgic it felt. Really had the feel of the music I hear boarding a plane as a kid.

The two I remember hearing last month on at least CX879 and CX632 were: After the Harvest by Angels of Venice (During boarding and deplaning on CX879, and boarding/deplaning on CX631) and Windell by Billy Oskay just after landing on CX879 and right when the IFSM made the landing announcement. My two videos on YT do have it so I do appreciate you for posting the boarding music list even though I Shazamed successfully.

Great tune :) Glad CX used it, shame it is no longer played. You're right, I think CX have only just changed their boarding music playlist in the last week or so- how often do they tend to rejig it these days? Pre-covid, I think they changed it more frequently (monthly).
