Connecting Two Awards?
Hi, I have a business class award booking for:
- HKG-CDG Date 1 CX261 On Request - HKG-CDG Date 1 CX279 On Request - HKG-CDG Date 2 CX261 On Request - CDG-HKG Date 9 CX278 Confrimed I understand each booking can only have a maximum of 3 waitlist. What happens if I make a new PNR for one-way - HKG-CDG Date 3,4,5 CX261 and one of the date 3-5 get confirmed? Can I remove my first PNR's three waitlist and then have Asia Milese connect my PNR #1 and #2 together for a complete round trip for 120000 Asia Miles? |
Not possible - see http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/catha...-ticket.html#7
If your one-way itinerary clears, you either issue it as two one-way *or* you create a waitlist for the cleared inbound flight in the return itinerary and cancel the one-way (hoping the segment "drops" into your return itinerary) |

I think it's possible, if you add an extra segment to your confirm CDG-HKG, like HKG-TPE with your dates 3, 4, 5. Then they are two different roundtrips, sharing the confirm CDG-HKG. I was able to do that with a recent CX booking.
