New PYE F Pajamas - Free Gift?
 

The new PYE pajamas are terrific, better than the ST set I think.

The PJ's come with a coupon for a free gift at the PYE store at Pacific Place. Has anyone claimed the gift? Wondering if it's worth a small detour to pick said gift up (and maybe try on a shirt?).

So, I had a meeting at the Shangri-la and stopped by the PYE store at Pacific Place to claim the free gift.

And....


It's actually a pretty nice set of 6 different handkerchiefs/pocket squares in a handsome gift box.

That is indeed a very nice gift. Now, I am looking forward to booking an F-return trip to get the new pyjama set.

Will try to post some photos tonight when I get to Seoul. The pajamas are very nice. I think they are the exact same model that PYE sells at retail (for just over 1000HKD). Lots of nice little details, like Cathay-branded buttons. Color is gray, but at the store they said that new colors may be added soon.

I like the box better than the content. :D

Hopefully they'll still give it out by the time i'm flying F again (hey CX, if you're reading this, isn't it time to give me another op-up? ;))

Thanks! I have my bag from my flight and didn't even notice the tag until you pointed it out. When I saw this thread I thought of the 'gift' they gave me on the flight, a deck of CX playing cards.

If I get one on tommorows flight, I'll pick these up. No real intention of paying £80-90 for a set of pyjamas at the same time though or anything else at those prices....
Will likely have a spare set or two from my next F flights anyway.

Neither did I for my flight from HKG to LAX. Maybe they only put them on the flights TO Hkg.

I've definitely got one on the bag tag. Off to pacific place later.

Wouldn't make sense to put them on a flight that's ex-HKG now, would it?

Picked up my free gift today. Had to fill a form in with some details (probably so they send things by email etc) - didn't ask about the flight.
Nice shirts in there to be honest.

Both the pajama set and the gift box look nice. Time to plan a trip with CX F!
