CX's PPP @ SFO
 

For those you wonder, CX has its own version of PPP.

Now in SFO:

Nothing new. Been avalaible in HKG, YVR, YYZ, etc for many years now.

And it's no where near TITS2's PPP program.
It's more of an extensive multi-day fieldtrip / tour of CX/Airport facilities for high schoolers.

Generally threads are open for discussions. Let's leave it open at least for now.

I got an email about this from CX today with a link to sign up. If I still lived in the Bay Area (I'm the rare SFO native) and had a child interested in aviation, I would have them do this.

When I was in high school we had a DL rep come talk to us about aviation careers on "career day." That may have been on of the factors that led me into this industry long ago. :p

I guess I am luckier than you.

In high school, I got to go to UA SFO hub to do a site visit.

In graduate school, I got WN to talk about their "LUV" and got a gift bag :D

My elementary school did the UA hub visit - at that point I think had the most BIS miles of any of my classmates. :D I remember that we got to go sit in the cockpit of a DC-8. And use the paging phone to page someone. :p
