For those that don't read Chinese
Flight overbook - cso called controlled as cap is reached. Control ask whether the guy is handsome. The cso asked the pax do you think you are handsome enough for an upgrade to PEY. The pax said yes - but can I get upgraded to J. CSO replied to control - the pax thinks he is handsome enough to opup to C

If travelling with marcuslai's kids, it would have been a straight upgrade to F for sure 
A more precise translation would be:
- Control asked CSO do you think the pax is handsome
- CSO asked the pax do you think you're handsome enough for upgrade to PEY
- Pax said yes...but I think I'm handsome enough to be upgraded to J
- CSO replied to control
- Control said, I asked if you THINK the pax is handsome, not ASK HIM if he's handsome
- Control's speechless
- Pax got upgraded.

when i read this, i thought it was a joke - does the CSO actually ask if a pax is good looking or not? or well-dressed enough for an op-up?
oh, i thought this was only an upgrade to PEY - not to J.
marcuslai's kids don't need an upgrade - daddy only flies in F! (ok, on rare occasions in J when there's no F offered).

So the moral of the story is that your chances for upgrades are less if you're ugly, old or being a woman?
Can you imagine the discrimination suits if this is out..? Oh wait, it is already out in the open as its of FlyerTalk !

Many of these students that travel between HK and Europe comes back home at least twice (or some...3) times a year. That's easily SL or above.
