One world emerald benefit on CX flight
 

As a oneworld emerald, are you allowed to use the first class check in area? Also, do I get first class priority tags?

1) Yes
2) Officially, no. Although it's not uncommon for CX to be generous and tag your luggage as priority when you're travelling in Y as a OW EM. YMMV.

thanks for the quick response. I know it's kinda stupid question, but i just wanted to confirm, the check in doesn't really matter to me, but the priority bag thing is unclear. Why can't oneworld just be like star alliance sometimes sighhhh....makes my life so much easier
