Transit luggage problem
 
I shall fly from MNL to LHR via HKG in May. I am planning to do some shopping in town during the long transit. Question is can I check in extra luggage from HKG to LHR? Any extra cost for the additional luggage check in? Thanks

1. Yes - as soon as you still have limit level.

2. No - unless you exceed your limit.

Depending what class your flying. As long as your over the weight class they would not charge you.

Non-MPC member:
First: 40kg (88lbs)
Business: 30kg (66lbs)
Premium Economy: 25kg (55lbs)
Economy: 20kg (44lbs)

MPC member:
Diamond Member: Additional 20kg (44lbs)
Gold Member: Additional 15kg (33lbs)
Silver Member: Additional 10kg (22lbs)

But if you go over the weight limit the charge is $60USD per kilogram(2.2 lbs)
