Fare basis code for group tour
 
I'm joining an organized group tour in HKG flying on CX. What's the usual fare basis code for this kind of flights?

I think I have Q for Hong Thai next week - not valid for miles accrual.

Usually groups book into G, but you should ask your TA as they may book PAX into a different class if the cost is less.

You can also request for a different booking class, if you have a desperate need for miles. It can be costly though.

Have another question.

There aren't any outsiders in our Hong Thai group - we're all friends or friends of friends at most and Hong Thai accepted our group promising no outsiders.

Can we pool the baggage allowance on a group tix (CX)?

Shouldn't be an issue, as long as you all check-in together.
