Question about Arrival lounge in HKG
I wanna try out JAL's service and meal.
As a result, I'm considering about taking JL from HND to HKG in economy class. My flight is booked under a CX codeshare (CX6321). I'm interested if I can enter the arrival lounge in HKG or not, given that my flight is booked under CX, and I'm a GOLD marco polo member. Their webpage writes: "Admission only for same day arrival on either Cathay Pacific or Dragonair flights" but didn't specifically mentioned flights operated by CX or KA, so I'm a bit of confused:confused: Thanks :) |
This is what the MPC benefits page says under Arrival Lounge usage:
15- Available to members arriving in Hong Kong, London (CX251 or CX255 only) or Frankfurt on flights marketed and operated by Cathay Pacific or Dragonair. Admission is for the day of arrival and guests are not allowed. To facilitate access to the London Arrival lounge, members should obtain an invitation card at their point of origin. I imagine it would say marketed or operated by CX if codeshares were OK? http://www.cathaypacific.com/cpa/en_HK/ffp/mpo/benefits |
According to the rules, you wouldn't be able to have access, but to be honest, you aren't missing out on much.
