Yes, I am spoiled by Asian airlines. US airlines will never compete in soft product as they are union-spoiled and have job security to the max that they literally had to murder somebody to be disciplined. Also, flying 20 year-old planes doesn't help either....

Really?
In Canada the unions have almost no power thanks to the Harper regime and the Tories.
Yet AC service is no better than UA, AA service.

This is way too simplistic to describe Canadian politics and union, but yes, Harper has reined in much of the union power, but to declare union has no power in Canada is a far fetch.
