Need to extend, is changing date available in Group ticket?
 

Hi,

I have some question regarding group ticket. Here is my situation. A travel agent has just booked me round trip cathay pacific ticket and the ticket is already issued. Its from surabaya-hongkong-tokyo and tokyo-hongkong-surabaya. I want to spend two more extra days in hong kong after I leave tokyo. I called the travel agent and they said the can't extend me because it is a group ticket. What I can only do is just burn the ticket and buy a new one. Is there anyway for me to extend my stay in hongkong? I dont mind if I am charged for some extra fee. Who should I contact regarding this?

Very unlikely given that you are not only changing the date but possibly also the itinerary (changing HKG from a transit to a stopover). You can of course give CX a call, but the answer will probably be no as well. If it is refundable, you can probably ask the TA to refund you and buy a new one. If it is not, then I guess you either have to go as planned or waste this TKT.
