CX Booking Now Shows Difference Between 773 and 77W

I was just on the booking website, and was locating flights and for the first time it showed the aircraft as 77W as opposed to 773, for YYZ-HKG. Interesting this has been implemented before system upgrade. but its good to see this type of detail being upgraded.

Same goes for 330s as well (now 333)

It could still use some work like what exact configuration it would use since we will have several configurations, but its a major improvement! A bit OT, but on their fleets section, they should seperate the 777-300 and the 777-300ER. They are 2 different aircraft with very different missions. Cheers

Except 330s AND 33B/33E/33G all display as 333. So it is just as useless as before.

I noticed that they also modified almost all the fares... the lowest miles earning HKG to YVR has been raised by $90.

How?

I just checked an existing YYZ-HKG-BKK booking through Manage my Booking, and the YYZ-HKG flight is now listed as a 77D (rather than a 77W), while the onward flight to BKK shows as a 773. Good improvement :).

MMB always shows the specific aircraft.

(for 333) what use? HKG-SYD still shows as 333 where it obviously is not.

Of course separating 773 and 77W is very welcome.
