HKG to TPE.. any food?

Hey guys~

Just wondering if there were any meals provided on the short flight from HKG to TPE? My flight is around lunchtime and would love to get some food down before if there isnt going to be any inflight.

Cheers :)

Sandwich on CX metal (I think they reintroduce 3 slice of fruit recently, will double check tomorrow)
Reduced Supper Service on KA metal

I always eat on ground and order fruit platter on flight.

last time I received a hot pocket like calzone. You are better off eating on the ground.

Sandwich in Y and a meal in J but you're better off getting food at HKG regardless of travel class.

if you are taking KA, than yes there are hot food. I haven't flew on CX HKG-TPE for a while, but I would suspect if KA has hot food meal, CX would too.

Just flew it 2 weeks ago in Y and no hot meal... unless the "hot" sandwich counts.

Did this 3 months ago in F and they served starter, main (2 choices), and dessert. Cabin went out 3/9 going HKG-TPE and only 1/6 on the return. The FA on the return even said "you are the king on this flight."

CX has gotten rid of the hot meal in Y for several years now. The sandwich has somewhat improved lately, but you're better off eating on the ground.

The meals they manage to serve in J/F on this leg are pretty impressive, given the length of the flight. In America our carriers barely manage a drink & nut service up front on the same distance.

Would I be able to ask for cup noodles...? :D

certain flights have hot meals in Y, most flights have the sandwich.

I've noticed lunch and dinner hours you get full service. But off-hours you get a bag of sandwich. Not sure if price differentiates based on the difference in services.

I don't think they stock cup noodle on that flight.

Why, because you're the only F pax with a high FFP status? :D
