If it can be billed in TWD then 20X is like 16.67% in miles (using $0.1/mile). Better than 7%

I see that I can select to pay TWD in agoda, it seems like they won't count the 20X for such transaction. What happen?

Oh no - you already made the transaction but 20X was denied to you?
I missed the "in Taiwan" requirement http://www.fubonbank.com.hk/web/html/cc_cbp00_e.html . My mind didn't click that agoda isn't a tw merchant.
Called up CS ken (calling on Saturday as calling in office hours these few weeks due to project room seating) "yep, agoda won't count"
I hope you haven't actually made the transaction...would have caused you to miss out on 7% disc if I did...

Psychiatrist and other experts - how long does it take miles to end up in Asia miles from points in Standard Chartered after you have done the transfer online? I transferred about a week ago and it hasn't turned up. Thank you.

I had as long as 14 calendar days - see post #4
However if the miles haven't shown up then I suggest you call SCB to follow up.

Convert 100K miles for 20K bonus 30 Sep-30 Nov
http://www.asiamiles.com/am/en/about...0007d21c39RCRD
http://www.hongkongcard.com/forum/fo...w.php?id=11183
2. Eligible miles accumulated for this promotion include:
For Finance category: the regular miles (excluding bonus miles) directly earned with American Express Cathay Pacific Credit Card, RBC® Cathay Pacific Visa‡ Platinum Card and Bank of Communications Asia Miles Credit Card; and the miles converted from designated credit cards bank points, for which the activity dates as shown on the Asia Miles or Marco Polo Club monthly Account Statement fall within the promotion period.
Great consolation prize for emptying out your SCB AE.
Also think about your HSBC Red Hot Festival, Bankcomm Want To Fly, some of the earlier CCB promos as well (too early for 939 unfortunately).

Amex 3kAM for $20K online spending, 10kAM for $50K 28 Sep-10 Nov
http://www.americanexpress.com/hk/en...onlinerewards/
This is on top of their normal earn rates, taking them "up to" to $3.07/mile online local, $2.22/mile online overseas and $1.74/mile CX Holidays.
I thought this was fortunate timing, making it seem like tied to the 20k extra miles/100K redemption offer above. But I believe CCB eye redemption also earn those redemption offers and that card earns $3/mile online local and $2.14/mile online overseas with no rounding down to $20K/$50K, so unless you're spending a bucketload with CX Holidays I'd stick with CCB eye.
But there're a lot of lazy people out there who don't apply for every card on our list so maybe a good deal.
(edit 1 Oct) WARNING - SIGNIFICANT LIMITATION - SELECTED MERCHANTS ONLY:
AMC Cinemas, Apple Online Store, Broadway Circuit, CATHAY PACIFIC, Cathay Holidays Limited, Dell, DRAGONAIR, ESD Life, Hotels.com, Lane Crawford, PALACE, Park n Shop, Reebonz, Sony Corporation of Hong Kong Ltd, Watson's Wine, Wellcome, Wing On Department Stores
Everyday Merchants again...online version...I'm not calling it totally useless/toxic yet but does significantly limit the earning opportunities of the offer!

answer is here - the links on the registration page take you to the full list of participating banks. SCB is one of them.
