Longest extension?

A simple question - what is the longest extension to reach a new membership tier that you have been given? I've been told by a friend that he received a 3 month extension after showing proof that he planned to travel enough to reach the next tier, but I haven't been so lucky.

So, no replies to this? Three months--CX HK, maybe your friend wins for longest extension. Do you know when this happened?

Thanks for bumping this thread - I had totally forgotten about it. This happened last year around Christmas time, and he currently works in JP Morgan; not sure if they have a special relationship with CX or anything. But 3 months is the most I've ever seen or heard of.
