How to send emails to certain CX addresses with "#"

This is more of a computer question I guess, but I'm having trouble sending emails to some CX email addresses that contain the pound key (#), e. g., AAA#[email protected], from both Microsoft Outlook 2010 and Windows Live Mail. Does anyone know how to get around with that? I was able to do it 2 years ago but now I don't know how I did that and whether or not the new version causes the problem.

Thank you!

I suppose you're sending a message to one of the 'internal' CX email addresses. I had problems previously with Windows Live Mail too when sending messages to the these types of emails (the error given was that the email address is not valid without any possibility to override it), and I reported this issue to them, but they just replied saying that it's quite rare for emails to include pound keys and they'll 'send it to their Product Development Team for consideration'. Use Yahoo! Mail or Gmail - it works with them.
