Flying LAX_HKG_Beijing. How difficult is it to transfer to Dragonair from CP
at HKG?

You mean Cathay Pacific? We normally say CX as short form.

Unless you get a narrow body (A32X) on a 500 series gate it probably the best transit experience you can have in the world.

HKG is probably one of the easiest, fastest airports to transfer at. Your bags will be checked through to PEK, so all you have to do at HKG is go through a security check, after which you will be on the departures level. From there you just go to the gate. Are you in F/J or do you have OW status? If so, you'll have access to the CX lounges too.

And yes, we call it CX, not CP :p
