CX First Class SIN-HKG

Does CX operate first class on SIN-HKG-SIN route?

Yes....been debated here many times as well (because aircraft swaps occur relatively frequently), pls search

Depends when you are going.
Random dates in November show that only 2 out of 49 weekly flights have F:
Sat and Sun, CX 739 at 11.35.

Happy Travels.

If you are just doing SIN-HKG-SIN, SQ has First on most flights including one A380 RT. And the SKL First Class Private Room at SIN is a must.

However, SQ's R class is very overpriced and not really worth it for such a relatively 'short' flight.

A much cheaper alternative, but with bad timing, is UA - which operates with its International First Class on their 744s and is open to reasonably-priced redemption with *A miles.

UA?? :D:D Yes, and you get what you pay for.
If OP doesn't like SQ's R fares, there's always the 77W.

the CX F is the long haul product for this short flight. Not quite necessary but very pleasant. No pajama's or duvet's though.

But not guaranteed either, unfortunately.

If you happen to luck out and get a plane with CX F do they still serve Krug like on long-haul?

Out of interest, what kind of champagne do they serve in the lounges? It's been years since I flew CX so a nice short may be in order.

when I flew CX First from Sin - HKG in August they didn't serve Krug but a very nice Champagne which I had never heard of but was very nice - sorry forgot what it was :o

The Silverkris lounge doesn't serve anything memorable but not sure about the BA first lounge if its open when your flight leaves.

From HKG - LHR however we had the Krug of course :D

I thought the entire experience, from check-in and beyond was quite nice.
The SQ First Class Experience at SIN

On the other hand, the SQ lounge at HKG - as with most other outports, is a shame, with no in-lounge toilets or showers.
