Technical delays are getting too frequent

In the last week, I have been on 5 flights - 4 of which have been involved in some sort of technical delay. Last week, my parents were flying back DPS -HKG-LHR and the 74A went tech for 2 days.

I personally have never known this to happen so often and across all plane types. 74A in DPS, 34B in BKK, 773 in HKG , 330 in TPE.

Am i thinking this is now too frequent?

Of course the obvious thinking is maintenace, is this the case?

If all the delays are due to MX then that seems like a string of bad luck. But are you certain that was the reason for all of them?
Delays can be for many reasons: MX, ATC delays, late inbound aircraft, crew rest, airport congestion, contractor issues (baggage loading, aircraft cleaning, etc), security.
