Before this gets totally out of hand with name calling etc... lets all be reminded to refrain from generalising anyone's culture into this discussion.

Its okay to discuss the type of airlines, type of crew etc.. but to say that xxxxx are not the 'service oriented' type of people is really uncalled for.

So lets keep this in check , ok...

I really believe that it depends on the ISM - if he/she is engaged then so are the are crew. I've had great and mediocre flights to/from the USA, UK, Australia and NZ. The majority of flights are great however on the odd occasion I notice problems, that's usually when the ISM isn't the best. It's called lead by example.
