Question: Club Carlson options at Grand Canyon

Looking at planning a trip to the Grand Canyon after a trip to Las Vegas next year.

Do not know the area at all... any Club Carlson options near the Grand Canyon?

Any feedback appreciated.

Club Carlson has a nice Search by map feature. Check it out here.

They do not have any properties closer than Phoenix.

I'm late but Flagstaff is convenient to the GC. Property looks very mediocre but probably as convenient as you'll get w/ CC.

The Radisson Woodland Flagstaff is not a radisson anymore (left 2 or 3 years ago), and is now a DoubleTree.
The property was not great but ok and was a good option and that's too bad CC did not find an alternative here.

The Flagstaff CIS is exactly what you'd expect. It's a bit of a drive to the Grand Canyon, but so is every hotel except for a few like the Holiday Inn Express Grand Canyon, and the drive is beautiful. I stayed there over Thanksgiving week and would stay again.

Given the absence of CC properties you might want to consider splurging on one of the properties at the Canyon for the experience. The El Tovar is the best but there are others.
