Blu Sky last June did not offer me a free breakfast. Closest hotel to the old city would be the PI by < 5 mins. Furtherest Olympia by apx 10 mins. Closest to the port w/b the PI by < 5 mins

HEL the Rad Royal is a subway stop away from the main bus/train station. The other Rad Blu is a 2 min walk diagonally across the train station sq, great for even the bus to/from the airport which stops along side the train station

I am Gold or Gold Elite, not 100% sure - all points from Club Carlson Credit Card. Stay 2x-3x a year at Carlson hotels, accumulated points for Baltics this summer before the devaluation (removing the 2nd night free)
There are now 4 radissons in Tallinn
Blu Sky
Blu Olympia
Park inn by Radisson Central
Park inn by Radisson Meriton Conference Center

Stayed at Blu Sky-2 nights, upgraded to business class room, fruit brought to room 1 hour after check in, 2 bottles of water in room, free breakfast (not everyone gets free breakfast). Had access to rooftop sauna by apt (free one time up to 1 hour by appt), had free access to fitness center and regular
sauna. Great location, 1-2 blocks from 2 malls, supermarkets, restaurants. 10-12 minute walk from old city entrance.

Park inn by Radisson Central- no upgrade to business class, free breakfast for everyone. no pool. Sauna/whirlpool by appt and cost money. Great location, 12-15 minute walk to ferry/port. 6 minute walk to old town entrance, where the hop on buses start. Took 2x-3x to find this 6 minute walk. 1-2 malls, many eateries and supermarkets within 4 minute walk.. Most supermarkets are in the basement of malls

Park Inn tallinn

I stayed at the Park Inn. It was ok, I got an upgrade, as I am Gold. Rooms were ok, service was not as good as other Baltic Park Inns, but ok. Cheaper parking is available near by.

Don't stay in the Park Inn, it's pretty basic. As for the other two they are pretty much as good as each other, I usually stay in the Olumpia, I like the pool and gym, and I think the breakfast is slightly better. Both hotels are walking distance to the city centre, the Olympic being about 500m further away. Really you can't go wrong with either hotel.

Just finished a pleasant two night stay at Radisson Blu Olumpia.

Service was truly excellent; very prompt, friendly and efficient. I used an e-upgrade into a suite (a little under a 100 euros extra over business class award room). The suites are designed primarily for business meetings with most of the room devoted to a very large table. Downside was that you couldn't really watch TV from the couch. But it did give me the sound insulation between rooms I needed. One of the benefits of the suite was the option to have breakfast in the room, which we did (loved the orange yolked eggs!). It was quite a generous spread and put the large table to good use.

I was given an option to upgrade to the presidential suite which was gorgeous, two bedrooms, upgrade cost was reasonable (but not insignificant). Would have been fantastic for a family; the bedrooms were far apart and the room must have been 2000 square feet.

The walk to the old town was easy and lovely, partially through a couple of parks. Unfortunately, the fitness center was closed for remodeling, but with as much walking as we did, it wasn't much of an inconvenience.

A very nice stay overall.

PS the casino next door moved to another location if that matters to you.

Just posted a review of the RB Sky in the "Post your CC experiences thread". Great stay. Would recommend it. We got breakfast included on a points stay (I am gold) and a lovely view of Old Town.

No more free breakfast at the Park Inns in Tallinn

Checked in last night only to be told if I want breakfast 10€ pp more. Luckily it is just me now but if I was with the whole family I would be pissed. Oh well no need to ever come back if they add these fees they are no longer competitive. Also no more free parking for Gold members. I have been coming here on and off for over 8 years before they rebranded...

+1.
high floor room, points stay, spacious room, breakie included and great rooftop bar.
Well not the best points value compared to cash but had to burn some anyway and the experience felt like value

I stayed at both the RB Sky and RB Olümpia this weekend. Both are very nice hotels at about the same location south of old town; 10 min walk to old town and 5 min walk between the properties.

I would prefer RB Sky as it is newer and standard rooms are slightly bigger than at RB Olümpia. Breakfast is very similar but again RB Sky wins by having large thin pancakes (the way I prefer pancakes rather than American pancakes), bircher musli and very tasty croissants.

From the airport, bus line 2 stops almost in from of RB Sky. Bus stop is called "Tornimae". Buy the 2 Euro ticket from bus driver. For RB Olümpia get off at the same stop and walk 5 min to the west.

I had a great stay in the Park Inn Meriton recently for 2 nights. The location was good, just outside the old town on the south side with a 5 minutes walk straight to the Parliament and another 5 to get to the main square. It was an 8 Euro taxi from the ferry port.

As a Gold Member, I got a welcome balloon, cookie, water etc which was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet was included (not sure if because I was Gold) and it was massive. There can be lots of large tour groups visiting this hotel, so best to avoid them at breakfast time.

However, the best feature was the Pool area. There was 3 different types of Sauna, 2 Jacuzzis and a massive Pool. Upstairs there was a full hym, with Free Weights, Cables, Benches, Squat Rack, etc. If you want somewhere to stay active while traveling it's a good choice.

The single beds were a bit small in the twin room we had, but I'd say good value for money overall.

One Vote for Radisson Blu Sky

I have been traveling to Tallinn on business 2-3 times per year for the past 7 years. I have stayed at the Radisson Blu Sky, Radisson Blu Olympia and the Meriton Park Inn and strongly prefer the Radisson Blu Sky hotel.

The Radisson Blu Sky is always my first choice. The lounge in the lobby and attached restaurant are nice. The breakfast is also very good, but doesn't offer the same selection as it did in the past.

The rooms in the Radisson Blu Sky also seem to be a bit nicer to me and I have frequently gotten upgrades there.
