West Coast to PLS (Turks and Caicos)

Traveling to Turks & Caicos (PLS) from SAN or LAX in October. (Saturday to Saturday) Departure times to PLS seem to leave before any flights from the West Coast arrive for a connection. For example SAN > FLL > PLS doesnít work unless we spend the night in FLL between flights or do a red eye.

We are trying to avoid a red eye or having to spend the night somewhere mid trip . Does anyone have any suggestions that work from the West. Open to any airline.

Iím not finding anything - hopefully I missed something creative.

Thanks

At least at some times of the year, there is an early evening departure (c. 5-6 pm) from MIA to PLS. Not sure if it works for Saturdays or not or if it works in the fall, but in the winter at least on some days there is something like a 7-8am LAX-departing route for LAX-MIA-PLS that works for same-day travel from SoCal to PLS.
