Your favorite chain hotel in San Juan, PR

I have pts in Hyatt, Hilton, IHG and Marriott. Will be spending a few days there in Nov., pre and post cruise. What's your fav hotel? Or top two?

TIA

I liked the doubletree hotel in San Juan. Not very posh, but nice, clean and close to the beach. Friends of mine stated at the Hyatt house, which they also thought its worth the money.

For on the beach, I like the Marriott Stellaris or the Intercontinental.

If you are going for a cruise on Carnival, the Sheraton Old San Juan is directly across the street from the pier Carnival uses. Otherwise, it wouldn't be the hotel I would recommend for old San Juan. If you are going on a cruise with Royal Caribbean or Celebrity, the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Convention Center is convenient for that pier and is good quality.

Doing a Celebrity cruise so leaning towards the Sheraton PR. Free breakfast too, thanks to my wife's status.

There are 2 Sheraton's, both close to different passenger cruise docks.

Yes and the Sheraton Puerto Rico (near the Pan Am Pier used by Celebrity/Royal) is a much better hotel than the Sheraton Old San Juan (across from the pier used by Carnival).

Sorry, I'm not a gambler so I can't answer that question.

Cmon, spend the money, I mean seriously, if gambling is key, it is on par. However, Odds on finding a good IPA, that's another thing, for that, then go to Taberna Lupulo in old San Juan. Will need to take taxi though.
