Dominican Republic - Short Video
 

The Dominican republic was actually one of my favorite spots during my sailing trip through the Caribbean and I tried to summarize the reasons for that in this short video - hope you like it :) Check it out if you can!!

[13/12/2016] Welcome to the Dominican Republic, the final episode of my sailing trip and host of the best beach I came across in the Caribbean: Bahia de Las Aguilas! Simply amazing water and certainly worth the hiking effort it takes to get there. You will also see more palm tree covered beaches from Playa Madame and Samana as well as the Limon waterfall. Thank you for posting this great video! I know literally every little corner of the Dominican side of the island (born and raised there) and went back to Bahia de las Aguilas in January (after more than 10 years since my last visit), really amazing place to just go & relax. In the past, we used to go straight to the beach and camp there for a few days although it was a challenge to drive up the cliff on the way back. Sadly now you have to pay for the little boats to take you there, and although they are not expensive, the experience is quite different when you actually drive up to the beach and stay there for a few nights.

Or you can simply walk it with a bit of time! :) Great place still though, hopefully they are not going to build lots of buildings there
