Enough time? [2:25 connection at ANU]
Arriving BA flight April 2013 2.05pm subject to no delays, how long do we need to de plane (flying business) clear immigration collect baggage re check in Liat? is it possible to get the 4.30pm flight to EIS via SXM or would it be better/safer to take the later flight 7.20pm arrive EIS 9.35pm stop overnight in Tortola before getting ferry to Virgin Gorda the next day. Coming back would it be best to spend a day in Antigua for safety?

You should have plenty of time in ANU to make your connection to EIS. You will need to clear immigration, collect your bag, pass through customs (there are no greeen lanes), turn right as you exit the terminal, walk 100m or so to the Liat checkin, queue, drop your bag, and retrace your steps halfway before entering back into the terminal for outbound immigration and security screening. Liat's on time performance is much better than it was 4-5 years ago, but they still have delays from time to time, especially late in the day.
On your return trip EIS-ANU, you didn't mention how much time you have for transit in EIS. Anything 2hrs + should be fine as your BA status should get you access to a shorter queue for check-in.
The only complication, on both in bound and out-bound is whether or not there will be both BA and Virgin flights on the same day (you can check schedules). It takes long enough to process a wide body through immigration in ANU, but if two wide bodies land at the same time.... You get the idea. On exit, the security screening gets clogged up from time to time for the same reason.
