strange fare YYZ-Rome
What is going on here--YYZ-Rome on CP nonstop for USD$1632 in business class?!?
KLM is matching.
Why? Any ideas?

The need to get "bums on seats" as we say in England, would be my guess.
On my Winnipeg to Toronto flight on Monday, I wanted to change seats at check-in, "no problem" I was told "as there are only two of you in Business". When the flight departed every seat was full in business, so they are upgrading to look full.
Better for them (not us) to sell seats cheap than to have to give them away.
