Expired upgrade stickers

In the current issue of newsletter. It states that as of November 1, no longer accepting expired upgrade stickers in order to maximize J class seats avaliability. Does it mean they are currently accepting them? Have anyone try to use expired stickers? If so, I'll be quite happy since I got a whole bunch from last year.

Does this apply to the annual qualification packages, or just the special 10K threshold stickers? Which ones have you been using and gotten away with? (I dump any unused, expired certificates, or pass them on to friends, etc. so have none at hand, but just curious.)
