Platinum
I want to know is there anyway to get to Platinum faster. Just found out AA will give you Platinum status if you earn 16000 miles within 3 months.
Also, how long does it take for Alaska Airlines miles to credit to my account? It's been 1 month now.
I called CP today and they told me I have already requalify which left me wondering because I only logged 30000miles so far to date.
Lastly, does anyone know what the cutoff or how many R class seats are alloted for each domestic flight and international?

Empress

Don't know about the first bunch of questions, but the number of available R seats is dependent upon their yeild management system. Therefore, two different flights using the same plane, and having the same number of free business class seats, may have a different number of R (upgrade) seats available. I am told that on most domestic flights, at least two seats will always be held for revenue passengers (buying a J class ticket) until the last minute.
