Amex points for CP
 

I want to know as a AMEX card holder, you get 1000 points for each CP ticket charge to the card. Even just for charging the taxes onto your card on an award ticket. However, none of the points have appear on my statement yet and I am sure that my CPlus account is linked. Anyone have any expwerience with this.

Well, I got two 1000 point bonuses for two award tickets last winter, but I did not get the bonus for an award ticket in May. I'm guessing that CP/Amex realized what was happening and "corrected" the problem, as I don't think they intended to give 1000 points for just paying the taxes, which goes directly to the government.

Nice while it lasted.

I got a bonus this April on a paid ticket. I just got a Finnair award ticket, charged it to Amex, but dod not get my Amex statement yet. I will post later to tell you if it has been credited.

Does the points go directly into the CPlus account or Amex account.

In my case, they went straight to my CPlus account.
