Greek Restaurant Recommendation in Montreal/Toronto
Looking for good authentic Greek restaurants in Montreal and Toronto. Will be staying @ Marriott Chateau Champlain in Montreal and Marriott @ Eaton Centre in Toronto.

In Toronto - the Greek restaurants are on Danforth Avenue between Chester and Pape stations on the Bloor-Danforth subway. The degree of genuiness is a matter of opinion but they do serve to Greek clientele - as in the movie.

In YYZ, as B1 says all the Greek places are on the Danforth. Kokkino @ 414 Danforth is a favourite of mine. Across the street is Myth which is pretty good too. Omonia is just a few steps next door. Anyhow, all the restaurants on the Danforth are pretty good - they have to be in order to survive.
From the Marriott I'd recommend taking the subway north to Bloor, then switch the Bloor line and head East to Chester station. You'll pop out on a residential street; from there it's just a few steps to the Danforth.
In YUL I don't personally know of any good Greek places. I'd surprised if there were that many - the Greek population in YUL is probably small relative to that of YYZ.

If you really like greek food, you should make a special point of going to Toronto during the "Taste of the Danforth". It's a weekend street festival, closed to traffic for many blocks, with all kinds of greek food, music and other activities.
It's a great experience - and you can bring the kids!
Cheers,

Thank you all for your replies. In Montreal we went to Trinity on Drummond St. Overpriced, but acceptable Greek cuisine. As we do in Greece, we dined on appetizers. The wild greens turned out to be store bought greens. What I found outrageous was the price of the Greek salad, horiatiki, $25! This for some feta, tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers. Our other appetizers were good, shrimp and octopus. The wine was quite extensive and we opted for a bottle of Moschofilero @ 40CAD. Service was very good. This place is mostly for the younger crowd. A really good belly dancer @ 9 pm.
In Toronto we ate @ Pan on Danforth. Very good Greek food and reasonable prices. Outstanding calamari and the same wine was 27CAD.
