YVR Airport Map - Dining

Does anybody have a better map of YVR than what is on the YVR website. It is not very detailed. We have a 3:20 layover from YYZ heading to HNL. Are there any good restaurants that we can use without leaving the secure area.

Thanks

From memory, there isnt anything spectacular in the secure area...Whitespot, Tim Hortons, in domestic. I think there is only one buffet type fast food in the American departures. If you want something decent, you will have to leave the secure area.

If you do end up venturing outside of the secure area, there is a great restaurant across from the south terminal called the Flying Beaver. It is at the seaplane base so you can watch planes come and go (assuming your there during the day).

If you are preclearing for HNL, you'll have to leave the secure area anyway (you'll have to go through security after clearing for the U.S.)

Hmmmm ... "Airport Dining" -- an oxymoron I am afraid. In my dictionary, the closest I have is "Airport Stuff Ya Face". :D

YVR is pretty dire inside security. "A&B" is a wasteland, "C" pier has the Legends (White Spot), but transborder has nothing for sit-down service. Outside security, the domestic terminal is best with a couple of sit-down places. There is a pub in in the international terminal, and the food fair.

When I have time, and want to meet friends or family, I will go to the Fairmont, where the Globe Restaurant has some really nice menu items, a much more relaxed dining experience and a nice view.

Which I was sorry to see lost their view thanks to construction, which I gathered was temporary.
