OK, quick update and thank-you to all who contributed...

First Saturday we went to Stanley Park then drove across to Cypress Mountain. Got a good view up there, but it was close to the cloud line so decided against Grouse Mountain. Ended up shopping in a mall in North Vancouver.

Second Saturday, left Whistler in glorious sunshine to arrive in a rather cloudy Vancouver. Dropped by the park again (Swiss Junior enjoyed it) then drove out to Stevenson. Had some lunch there - highly recommended and again a nice park for kids - then drove up to the floatplane base just south of the airport, got a charter from Seair for a quick 30-40 minute circuit round the city then back to the airport itself.

Very cool sitting next to the pilot in a C185, then settling down in a 747 just about 90mins later for the flight back to London!
