Cabbie Rules
Hey,
For the first time in a while i took a cab ride in toronto, and was surprised by one particular rule: Cab Drivers are not ALLOWED to recommend a hotel unless specifically requested to by a passenger. This may seem logical, but it is quite possible that you forget to ask and that the cab driver knows the perfect place... could be a missed oppportunity :td: |

In most cases these days a taxi driver is about the last person I'd ask for such a recommendation, most barely even know the city outside the major thoroughfares, the day when a cabbie was plugged in to anything but where to score crack is long gone. |
