Whistler Blackcomb

Is there anything kid friendly here? I'm looking for things to do with my daughter this spring/summer 2005. Any recommendations?

How outdoor active is your daughter? Does she like to walk, hike, bike, canoe, fish or otherwise enjoy the outdoors? It would seem the town is geared to sitting around and people watching, partying, spending money in shops nad restuarants and other ways of being fleeced of your money. If you can forego the activities in the last sentence, you could almost get away with stopping in Squamish instead.

Hi, my daughter is a mere toddler. I just thought we could expose her to the beauty of Whistler/Blackcoomb. We've never thought of Squamish before... can you recommend anything to do there? Thanks.

I'm not sure if Whistler is all that uniquely scenic and beautiful. Squamish has a rail museum, a few parks, huge gathering of bald eagles, windsurfing, a nice monolith (Stawamus Chief). I think your daugther may be too young to appreciate it all personally. You could just as well stay in Vancouver.
