I fly out of YYZ a couple of times a month and here's some of my recommendations.

First of all, all the Starwood properties in Canada are well-run, so I don't think you'll go wrong with any Sheraton you stay at in Toronto. There are several and I've stayed at all of them.

As for car service, I would call ahead and reserve your car. After you clear through customs at YYZ, you will have to GO UPSTAIRS and find your way to the Limo area. There will be a guy in a booth and all you have to do is go up to him, give him your name and the limo company and they'll call for your car to come get you. I would go this route because usually there's a long line for cabs (and it's cold now!).

Also, another thing to note, clearing customs out of YYZ is a hassle. The lines are VERY very long so make sure you give yourself AMPLE time on your return. It's hit or miss. There are days where the line wraps around and you can wait for one hour and other times you clear immediately.

Toronto is a great midwestern city and the people are genuinely nice. Happy travels.

I think US Immigration in T3 now has a dedicated line for US citizens/residents which is usually quite short. So hopefully it won't take you too long to get through. But still be sure to leave yourself a bit of time just in case (especially since Jetsgo isn't known for their speedy check-in lines!)

Your in luck for some good priced eats. While your in Toronto, they will be having the Winterlicious Promotion program going on with participating restaurants in Toronto.

Here's the link for the entire promotion:

http://www.city.toronto.on.ca/specia...terlicious.htm

All the restaurants that are participating offer a prix fixe menus that are either $10/$20 for Lunch or $20/$30 for Dinner. This includes a three course meal (appetizer, entrée and dessert).

Toronto's top restaurants are participating in this promotion, including:

Centro Grill and Wine Bar (Mid-Town)
Auberge du Pommier (Mid-Town)
Canoe (TD Building, 54th Floor)
Epic (Fairmont Hotel)
North 44 Restaurant (Mid-Town)
Toula (Westin Harbour Castle)
Truffles (Four Seasons Hotel)
Zachary's (Airport, Wyndham Bristol Place Hotel) If you have sometime before your flight on Monday for lunch, this place is great.)

If your coming in during the time of the promotion, I would suggest you call ahead and make reservations now with the places that you may want to visit while your in town.
