Spa Ritual:
The Spa Ritual is a relaxing experience unique to Willow Stream. It was designed to introduce our spa guests to the health and relaxation benefits of traditional-style Finnish Sauna and Steam, as well as the legendary effects of the Hungarian Thermal Mineral Pool. This experience is 30 minutes in length and is recommended prior to taking any facial or body treatments, to prepare the body for total relaxation and nourishment.

Willow Stream Facial Experience

Begin this facial experience with an invigorating Eucalyptus foot soak and a cup of revitalizing herbal tea. Inside your comfortable treatment room, this oxygenating anti-aging facial begins using ingredients brimming with antioxidants, including natural spirulina, rich in protein, vitamins, minerals and botanical extracts to combat premature aging and provide skin with a healthy glow. This facial includes a luxuriously relaxing massage of the face, scalp and neck and includes a hydrating hand and foot treatment.

'Fit for a Queen' Facial Experience

We are thrilled to offer our Signature facial using Aromatherapy from London, England. The essential oils used in this relaxing experience are the actual products used by many members of the Royal Family! Renew your skin with natural oils that hydrate, moisturize, revitalize and increase the circulation. From ingredients rich in Vitamin C to the re-balancing and therapeutic properties of Ylang Ylang, Tea Tree and Lavender, your skin will glow with radiance and vitality.

Maintain a natural healthy glow with this comprehensive treatment for all skin types. Includes a gentle exfoliation to reveal radiant skin, gentle skin cleansing, a relaxing facial, hand and foot massage, a nourishing and refining masque and botanical extracts to rejuvenate the skin. Your aesthetician will assist in selecting appropriate products for your skin type.

Cellular Repair Facial for sun damaged and dehydrated skin

A luxurious facial to nourish and tone the skin with a combination of rejuvenating and anti-aging products with a unique contour lifting massage and acupressure exercise. This also includes a nourishing ampoule treatment to improve skin color and texture.

Gentlemen's Barber Experience
(60 minutes - $99 CAD)
A deep-cleansing facial designed specifically for the special skin care needs of men, including sensitivity and razor burn. Deep cleansing and gentle exfoliation, followed by a deeply restful massage of the face, neck and shoulders makes your skin glow with youthful vitality.

Glycolic Treatment with sunscreen application
(30 minutes - $69 CAD)
This treatment includes a 20% glycolic peel with sunscreen application to protect you from the sun. Sun exposure is not recommended in conjunction with this treatment.

Willow Stream balances all of the elements to create an incredible calming massage. A warm eucalyptus foot soak and a cup of refreshing, specially-blended tea starts the relaxation process. This is a calming one-hour Swedish massage with a soothing mineral cream mixed with our Willow Stream essential oil blend. Relax with us, let us help you nourish and revitalize your body and spirit.

Swedish Massage
(60 minutes - $119 CAD and 90 minutes - $159 CAD)
A massage technique using long smooth strokes to relax muscles and stimulate the lymphatic and circulatory systems.

Aromatic Massage
(60 minutes - $129 CAD and 90 minutes - $169 CAD)
An ancient art in which the essential oils of flowers and herbs are applied to the body, inducing relaxation, increasing energy, reducing the effects of stress and restoring lost balance to mind, body and soul.

Sports Massage
(60 minutes - $129 CAD and 90 minutes - $169 CAD)
A deep rejuvenating massage that targets sore muscles and enhances muscle recovery after vigorous exercise, sports activities or the stresses of daily life. It combines stretching, rocking, and circulation enhancing strokes to move lactic acid out of the system. A mild soreness may result.

Shiatsu
(60 minutes - $119 CAD and 90 minutes - $159 CAD)
Shiatsu is a 5000-year old Japanese therapy that was used as a self-healing ritual. Shiatsu applies comfortable and appropriate pressure to all parts of the body using thumbs, palms and elbows and is exceptional in assisting in the relief of stiff or sore muscles, headaches, tension and insomnia. This treatment may be performed with comfortable loose clothing.

Reflexology
(60 minutes - $119 CAD)
One of the world's oldest healing modalities utilizing a unique massage technique applied to the feet and hands, bringing all of the body's organs back into balance. As a special touch, we add a face, neck and shoulder massage.

East Meets West LaStone Therapy
(75 minutes - $159 CAD)
The original La Stone therapy, developed in Arizona, has been combined with the scents and oils of an Eastern-based Ayurvedic treatment. Basalt river stones (earth element) are harvested from the river (water element) and warmed to create a deep heat (fire element) massage treatment that eases tension. The Ayurvedic oils, including a blend of cinnamon, sage, rosemary, basil and rose, are combined with the hot rocks for a unique aroma (calming air element) that will melt away stress.

Maternity

This pampering relaxation massage is designed to relieve tension and discomfort, with the safety of the mother and child in mind.

'Salt of the Sea' Scrub

This invigorating sea salt exfoliation removes dull surface skin cells, improves circulation and nourishes the skin with minerals, trace elements and eucalyptus essential oil. An application of soothing chamomile lotion leaves you with softer, smoother skin.

Gentle Body Polish
(30 minutes - $69 CAD)
This is a gentler exfoliation of the body for sensitive skin and includes a unique granulated pumice and chamomile scrub that gently refines and renews the skin. A loofah mitt with chamomile bath gel follows for deep cleansing, while a chamomile spray completes the experience.

The Beauty of the Bath, find your energy here or at home. After an active day, a mineral or herbal bath is the relief your body craves. The thermal water and algae baths include nutrients and trace elements used for centuries to relieve aching muscles and sore joints, while promoting circulation and detoxification. The European herbal baths are comprised of herbs renowned for their therapeutic properties.

A 'Kur' consists of 10 - 20 baths taken in a row several times a year. The baths can be added to any experience or can be purchased for use at home, prolonging the spa feeling.

Thalassobath

A purifying algae bath utilizing fresh dried focus seaweed and mineral rich seawater crystals. This treatment is rich in vital minerals and algae that both stimulate circulation and accelerate the body's natural rate of perspiration, which aids in overall detoxification. Excellent for stress!

Aroma Mineral Bath
(30 minutes - $69 CAD)
An all-natural product that incorporates the finest essential oils of melissa and lavender, with thermal minerals and trace elements. This bath stimulates circulation as it soothes the senses.

Thermal Mineral Bath
(30 minutes - $69 CAD)
Taken from a well over 2,000 meters deep, these crystals contain large quantities of biologically active minerals and trace elements, which are absorbed through the skin during bathing - this aides in the detoxification of the body. It is especially beneficial for sore muscles and aching joints.

Herbal Baths
(30 minutes - $69 CAD)
From traditional European natural remedies, these potent aromatic oils are made from rich botanicals and will soothe or invigorate the body.

Melissa (Melissa)
Calming to the nervous system, this bath relieves tension and strengthens vitality. An excellent sleep inducer, perfect for jet lag.

Fichtennadel (Pine)
Pine promotes circulation in the body as it balances the nervous system. Eases stiff joints and aching muscles.

Heublumen (Wildflowers)
This bath relaxes and soothes the body, excellent for after sports to soothe aching and tired muscles.

Kamille (Chamomile)

'Willow Stream' Body Experience For Health

A Signature experience of the Willow Stream spa, based on the century-old tradition of using medicinal mud, healing waters and light massage for both a detoxifying and relaxing effect. This experience draws from the restoring effects of combining all of the earth's elements in one experience: earth (mud), air (aromatherapy), water (mineral baths) and fire (warm wrap).

It begins with a body wrap, which combines the famous cleansing and renewing effect of moor mud, with the uplifting aroma of fresh rosemary. It continues with immersing in a therapeutic mineral bath using salts from the Hungarian Savar Spring, a spring so high in mineral content that the Hungarian Ministry of Health has designated it 'a medicinal water'. The experience ends with a soothing massage using a moisturizing mineral cream, mixed with the benefits of essential oils of sage for cleansing and balancing. This prosperity building experience is nourishing, hydrating and restful the essentials of a long and healthy life.

'Find Your Energy' Body Experience for rejuvenation

We all need a personal energy surplus to stay healthy, in spite of the increasing demands of everyday life. The key to building personal energy is a quiet mind, relaxed muscles and a rejuvenated spirit. This treatment uses the secret power of locally harvested rose hips to create an experience that both relaxes and re-energizes, the perfect choice if you feel exhausted from the pressures of trying to balance everyday life or simply recovering from the stresses of travel.

You begin with a gentle brush exfoliation to stimulate and prepare your skin to be nourished. You then relax in a bath with the restorative scents of Chamomile. A Rose Hip Oil massage follows to loosen muscles and relieve tension. Finally your body is then gently wrapped in an infusion of Golden Red Rose Hip. KUR TREATMENTS
A European KUR is known as the foundation of the traditional spa experience. In the authentic spa approach, treatments were repeated for many days in a row to allow and promote well-being and longevity. The rituals included exercise, nutrition, peace of mind and treatments for the face and body.

In our busy lives, it is almost impossible to take the cure or 'KUR' in its traditional form. Hence, the Kur treatments have been designed to be enjoyed in a single session, a series of sessions or taken with you to be repeated in your own home. The benefit of continuing the Kur process is stress reduction and relief from muscle tension and/or joint discomfort. When our body is under stress, our systems of elimination, circulation and digestion are sluggish and inefficient. When exposed to natural resources such as essential oils, mineral water, herbs and algae, we can assist our body to function more efficiently.

Herbal Kur

Three treatments in one, this Kur commences with a soothing Chamomile Body Scrub to polish and prepare the skin for the healing effect of the herbal bath (Wildflower, Melissa or Chamomile) that follows. A full body massage with Lavender oil completes the experience, leaving you with a feeling of complete revitalization.

'Power of the Sea' Thalasso Kur
(90 minutes - $189 CAD and 3 day Kur treatment - $499 CAD)
Although the waters of the West Coast are too chilly for many to swim in, we invite you to indulge in the rejuvenating effects of the sea. This treatment is an ideal way to relax and nourish your body with vitamins and minerals that are lacking when tired or stressed. Perfect for the tiring effects of jet lag!

This experience begins with your body being cocooned in warm re-mineralizing algae for 20 minutes to soak up elements that are essential to a healthy body. During the wrap, experience an acupressure facial exercise and scalp massage. You are then immersed in an aromatic hydrotherapy bath, laden with algae and sea salts, and given cold compresses for your eyes and citrus flavored water to re-hydrate.
