YVR: Morning TB flight - how much time to clear?
 

Haven't flown TB originating at YVR for many years. In the past, 1.5+ with premium check in (have checked bags), Nexus/GE and Verified Traveller was more than enough. Is this still the case? Midweek 0930 flight so was planning to get the 0730 airport shuttle to arrive at 0745-0750. No lounge so prefer not to wait too much at the gate (it's an E170/5) but don't want to cut it too close either.

I cannot comment on YVR, but at YYZ this would be adequate with priority security and GE, although I normally do 2.5 hours. Hopefully someone here can comment on YVR for you.

YVR Transborder?
My most recent data point is YVR to LAS on WS economy with no status for a 9:05am flight/8:25am boarding on a Thursday in late October last year. I was hoping to get to YVR just before 7am but ended up closer to 7:15am. Baggage drop off was a nightmare so I skipped and just carried on.
Separate security line through the side door for NEXUS was somewhat slow as they only had one lane going and a couple of flight crew pushed us back. Initially felt a little bit of panic as I joined the queue about 20 people deep just to the door along the outside wall and it wasn't moving very fast.
However, US immigration was super quick with NEXUS. Facial recognition and a short one person queue for a quick interview with the agent.
Got to the PP lounge around 8:10am based on timestamp message to the missus.

Well, got to the airport dark and early (~0715) just having found out my flight was delayed due to fog (inbound held at SEA). No wait for check-in though the agent might have protected me on the direct AF flight. Bag drop fast. VT lane was like you described it to be - initially very slow but seems to have up speed so not too long, thankfully. Think it took 20 mins in all. Thankfully the Travelzoo delay free lounge access vouchers came through and early at that .

Want to add, used the GE app to submit an application but the agent with a deep Creole accent wanted to use the camera anyway.
