Buying STM’s weekly pass in Zone A at YUL
Where are the ticket machines at YUL to buy the weekly public transit pass for Zone A? I want to be able to buy it as it includes the 747 bus into Montréal. Thank you!

"Where to purchase your fare1. At the YUL Montréal-Trudeau airportThere are four fare vending machines in the international arrivals area. Payment in cash, by debit card or with VISA or MasterCard credit card. For more information, you may inquire at the STM information counter located in the international arrival area or ask one of the STM representatives near the bus stop outside the airport." The International arrival area is just inside the terminal where the 747 bus departs from. I believe those fare vending machines sells all fares. |
Thank you. I just copied the link, but it wouldn’t open unfortunately.
Let me just verify. At those ticket machines, I can buy the weekly zone A card which includes the 747 bus? Or is it just a ticket machine that sells tickets for the bus only? |
Sorry about the bad link. There is a missing "m". The corrected link is below:
https://www.stm.info/en/info/network...wntown-shuttle The weekly zone A pass does include the 747 bus. According to the web pages on weekly pass https://www.stm.info/en/info/fares/t...pass-all-modes Under heading: "where to purchase" The first item says: "In the métro, at fare vending machines or from station agents". Normally, a fare vending machine sells all tickets. I would expect the fare vending machines at the airport is just a normal machine, and not a special limited one. If not, I don't know of anywhere in the airport where you can buy it. |
Thank you

I've never bought a weekly STM pass from the machines at YUL (only the 24 hour and 3-day passes) so I'm not 100% sure, but worst case scenario you can just buy the 24 hour pass to get into the city. The machines are basically right in front of you as you exit customs, past the newsstand/cafe by the exit doors to the right. Very easy to spot.

The link about the fare is https://www.stm.info/en/info/fares/t...ekly-all-modes (stm.info, not st.info).
I bought a 3-day just last week at YUL. The vending machines are as described (albeit kinda hidden behind stairs/stuff - just turn right after exiting arrivals). It is valid on the 747 bus ... and as a tip: exit at Lionel-Groulx and change to Metro there already. traffic/roads are PITA. |
